On the outskirts of Santa Ana, only 15 minutes away from the Juán Santamaría International Airport (close to the airport but not noisy), you will find the Villa Arboleda, a private luxury home in the middle of a first-class residential area. It's one of eight houses in a spacious, well maintained and closed housing estate with a blooming tropical garden and abundance of local flowers. Conveniently located, calmly situated with a marvellous view over Costa Rica’s Central Valley.
You will find all important amenities such as restaurants, shops, banks and modern shopping malls in close proximity. If you want to leave without your car, it's only a few steps to the bus stop, from where the regular public service will take you downtown of San José in less then a half hour. In a 5 minutes walking distance you can find several restaurants with tasty food. You can choose from Peruvian, Mexican, Italian and Spanish restaurants or also local Costa Rican kitchen. In less than 2 miles distance you will find a beautiful 18 hole golf course as well as 6 tennis courts (sand and artificial lining).

Juerg picked us up at the airport and was very helpful to rent our car. The accommodation is very cozy and the breakfast with homemade bread outstanding. Santa Ana is located near the airport and San Jose is accessible by bus. We can highly recommend this accommodation as a start and / or end point of a Costa Rica trip. "

" We spent our first and our last night at Villa Arboleda. We were greeted very nicely and they gave us a delicious breakfast including homemade bread. There are two rooms, these are very spacious, the toilet could have been a bit cleaner. Despite it's good location to the airport (Depending on the traffic situation 20-35 minutes), the Villa Arboleda is very quiet in a private and guarded community with 8 houses and a beautiful view. The bus stop to San Jose is only a 5-minute walk away, good possibilities for dinner are also within walking distance. The owner helps with further planning, very helpful. "
